Hey There!

I'm Rochelle, and I sell homes in Atlanta, Georgia.
I am a Realtor with Metro Brokers/GMAC Real Estate, one of the city's top brokerages. I'm kind of new, having got my license a few months ago. Still, I'm poised for success. I closed $709,800 worth of real estate in December, 2006 alone – more sales in one month than most agents do in their first year.
I really love what I do. I'm a Realtor in one of the top markets in the United States at one of the best times to be an agent. I play a part in making other people's dreams come true. My labor keeps countless other people employed. I'm limited only by my work ethic and my own imagination. I'm an entrepreneur in the most clearest sense of the word.
This is a second career for me, coming after over a year of searching, after 14 years in newspaper reporting. I made it to one of the nation's largest newspaper before I turned 30. I'm planning to be just as successful in this business by the time I'm 45. Haven't quite figured out how I will measure that success just yet, but it will come to me soon.
I started this blog for a number of reasons. Real estate is a complicated concept – but one that touches everyone. A lot about this work is fun. Other days, no so much.
Still, I get to be a guide, leading folks through one of the most exciting things they will do – buy or sell property. Closing is usually a good feeling for everyone sitting around that conference table.
Check back often – I will update regularly because Atlanta's market is changing all of the time! You'll see me grow along with the Atlanta market, as I take on more buyers and more listings.
